Latest Truck Industry Survey Shows Definitive Shift to Adoption of Shorter Asset Lifecycles Amongst Other Findings
Fleet Advantage recently unveiled results of its latest bench-marking survey of private and transportation fleet executives showing that more fleets are acquiring new trucks by leasing and shortening their asset lifecycles before replacement, compared to the previous years’ data of an average of 7 years.
The online survey also shows that fewer fleets are opting for full-service leasing. Last year’s survey indicated 18% of respondents utilizing full-service leases, but that number dropped down to just 4% this year.
